The Law Office of Teresa P. Williams, P.A., Donation To Dunedin Cares

CLEARWATER, FL, March 23, 2021 – The Law Office of Teresa P. Williams announced they will be making a donation to Dunedin Cares, a local food pantry that provides food and nutrition guidance to individuals and families in need in Dunedin, Florida and the surrounding communities. The donation will come in the form of much needed financial support and food supplies to the local food pantry.

Food banks across the state of Florida have been devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic. They face increased demand and a severe shortage of administrative capacity. Many food banks and food shelters have seen a decrease in food donation efforts as well as a huge drop off in the number of volunteers available. However, food banks like Dunedin Cares are working around the clock to continue serving the community they vowed to support. Donations allow Dunedin Cares to stock their shelves and donated bags provide one of the much needed supplies for the food bank to deliver their goods and services.

The Law Office of Teresa P. Williams recently donated reusable bags to Dunedin Cares. “Dunedin Cares is so grateful for our bag sponsor from the Law Office of Teresa P. Williams,” said Julianne DiBlasi, marketing representative at Dunedin Cares. “Each grocery bag that leaves our Pantry is a sign of hope for so many of our neighbors in need. These donated bags are quite literally the wrapping paper on a small gift of well-being and support that means so much to our guests. It’s the first thing they see when they get home and open their trunk and the first thing these families see when they unpack their bags in their homes. Doubling as a reusable and useful item, these bags make the rounds in our guest’s daily life, reminding them over and over that someone really does care.”

“It is so important to recognize the many volunteers at Dunedin Cares that work so hard to ensure every week the nutritional needs of our vulnerable residents are being met,” said Teresa Williams, a long time resident and personal injury attorney. “We have been supporting the Dunedin Cares cause for several years and have a deep respect for the impact that the organization has on our community.” Teresa Williams has been a  board member for Dunedin Cares since 2019 and confirmed, “Without the dedication of the volunteers, the pantry would not be possible. The fact is that many individuals and companies support Dunedin Cares and the food pantry and the community has been blessed because of the ongoing efforts of so many.”
